What is a Wyoming registered agent? How do you know if you need a Wyoming registered agent?
Every entity in the state of Wyoming is required by our state statutes to designate a registered agent. That person or entity must maintain a physical office in the state of Wyoming and be available during normal business hours to accept service of process and notify the owner(s) in a timely fashion. In Wyoming, registered agents must also maintain certain confidential records such as a registered agent contract with the names and addresses of all of the owners, managers, members, officers and directors of each company. If you do not live in Wyoming full time, you cannot serve as your own registered agent, although many of our customers who live in Wyoming chose to hire us to maintain confidentiality of their ownership.
